Proposal: Stand Powers

In Spectral Actions, add:

A Stand without a Stand Power may obtain one by privately communicating such a feat to the Doctor and their Stand Master, along their choices of Range, Effect and a unique Name (one that another Stand Power doesn’t have yet) for their Stand Power.

A Stand Power’s Name is up to 20 characters long and contained in brackets, for example “[Sheer Heart Attack]” or “[The World]”.

Range and Effect left blank. Stands should be able to do cool shit.

Note: I see no need for the exact effects of the power to be a secret. Also, I feel like the standmaster should be included in the actions.

you may want to add “confusion” to the list of banned symptoms. That has an obviously useful power on it.

Moving villagers around has me on the fence. The obvious move is to start shoving people off to the road. Dead villagers can’t return from the road, and that feels like a problem. On the other hand, its a very useful power that solves a problem.

[derrick] Cuddlebeam already did - if you vote against your own proposal, it “self-kills” it, and it can be failed as soon as it reaches the end of the queue.
