Dependent on Grandstanding.
In rule “Death and Reincarnation”, change “If a Townsperson is in a perilous condition and their Home is neither empty nor only containing a single Human, any Townsperson may (and should) make them die by setting their Home to “@” and remove, if they have any, their workplace, their birthsigns and their vision. Also set their Fate to 0.” to:

If a Townsperson is in a perilous condition and their Home is not empty, any Townsperson may (and should) make them die by:
- setting their Home to “@”,
- reducing their Standing by 1 (if it’s not already 0),
- setting their workplace to “Home”,
- setting all their other variables to the default values.

This also removes the possibility of multideath due to iterated Farming in Hurricanes.

for CoV, “Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme” includes a clause to stop a starvation death loop.

against For the set-workplace-to-Home provision; dying is already a pretty harsh penalty, and adding “you lose your only opportunity to affect your Fate or Inventory for several days” would effectively put a player out of the Standing race for good.
