In the effect of “Siphon”, replace “randomly select one of those Wizards to lose 1 Star” with:-
the Wizard among them with the lowest-numbered position in the Wizard Ring loses 1 Star
Changing Siphon’s victim selection to use the same non-random tiebreak as spellcasting.
This gives lower positions a bit too much incentive to go for things like burn (or siphon), which would trend the star count down. (I’m against the star count trending downwards)
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
