Proposal: Sticky + Exclusivity

Fails 1-3, with 4 undecided differentials.—Rodney.

Replace the text “posting a blog entry” in the first paragraph of rule 2.6 “Duels” with “posting a stickied blog entry”.

Make all current Duel posts stickied.

Add the following text to the end of rule 2.6 “Duels”: “When Combat ends, the Duel post should be unstickied.”

Replace ““Any Clansman apart from the Clan Lord who announced it” in the first paragraph of rule 2.6 “Duels” with “Any Clansman who is not currently a Combatant in a Duel, apart from the Clan Lord who announced it,”.

There’s an option for me to sticky my own posts. But I don’t think Duel Posts need to be stickied.

But then you have a bunch of duel posts that are way down on the list and combatants have to scroll forever just to find them. Also, proposals are on the sidebar whereas duel posts are not.

What is BlogNomic?

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
