Proposal: STIS, minus the bad part

Self-killed. Josh

Enact the failed proposal called Simplify the Item System, then remove line

• Put the item up for auction via a story post.

Removes the major issue in my last proposal. Still simplifies items.

Curious, Why all the deferrals? Simply because the king is the one mostly impacted?

I think players are just hesitant to vote without a strong argument for or against it.

Tentative against  for now, as this proposal makes any Auction open at the time of its enactment illegal, as well as personal preference on Item generation. (What on earth does it mean for a piece of fruit to be lewd? Or Renaissance, for that matter? And I don’t care how well preserved it is, that fruit cannot last for 1000+ years and still be recognizable as such; the technology required didn’t exist.)

against per naught about making open auction illegal. Already went through that once.

Also pencil you don’t have to vote on your proposal other then to self kill it. The proposer automatically counts as a for vote

As much as the current process is a pain in the nuts, I’m getting used to it, and I do think that the lack of conceptual clarity around characteristics is a bit too much of a problem for me.  against
