Proposal: Straightening the starting line

In “Heists {I}”, change

* The performer gained a Target.

to

* The performer lost a Target.
* The performer unidled, or joined as a player.

(where asterisks represent the start of a list item).

A minor timing fix designed to make things fairer and easier to track. Under the current rules, Masterminds have a head start in performing Heist Actions compared to non-Masterminds (because their targets are rolled earlier), and the slower-to-respond Mastermind has an advantage over the faster-to-respond Mastermind (because they pick each other’s targets). Synchronizing to lost targets rather than gained targets means that everyone gets to act at the same time.

Additionally, under current rules, a newly unidling Admin gets to act immediately, before their Target is set (whereas a non-Admin can’t do that because they will probably be assigned to a team by the Admin who unidles them, to block the scam). Thus, unidling players also need a timer reset, both to avoid the (admittedly somewhat unlikely) scenario of “a player pools with a number of idle admins” and to remove the admin advantage.
