Create a new rule entitled “Striking Back” with the following text:
An Oligarch may Raid the Despot , spending any amount of Power to reduce the Power of the Despot by that amount.
It should work both ways, though the Despot still gets an advantage as his raids are twice as effective.
I don’t know whether Josh wants this as an endgame tool; combined with Despot-switching, this means the dynasty will probably end when only one Oligarch has any power left.
seems too strong. Josh has already lost 5% of his power in a couple of days…
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
