If “A Private Criteria is considered Saturated if its satisfying count plus its unsatisfying count is greater than or equal to seven or the number of seekers, whichever is greater” exists in the ruleset, replace it with:-
A Private Criteria is considered Saturated if its satisfying count or its unsatisfying count is greater than or equal to five (or half the number of seekers, whichever is greater)
Might be more interesting to have Saturation happen at the extremes, rather than always at a neutral 7-photo timeout (the total of the two counts will always go up by 1 per photo scored).

One concern with this, that I suppose the existing rules also have to a bit of a lesser degree, is that it does reward hyper online play
If you’re sitting at 4 satisfying 2 unsatisfying and someone posts a satisfying snap, you’re better off waiting the 24/48 hours to see if anyone else posts a snap, because if that is unsatisfying you can claim 7 total points rather than just getting 2 and needing to reset
In the current rules, you’d only get 4 points vs 2 from that approach, a much smaller benefit though showing the problem still remains
But I think if we’re really concerned about that, we can patch it by requiring people to respond to snaps in the order they were posted. That way you really have no reason not to respond to a snap right away
