Proposal: Switchback

Reword “The Switch” to:-

The Dynasty of the Second Switch is a game being played at wp.blognomic.com. It is regarded by BlogNomic as a test dynasty where any winner would not ascend to Emperor. Players of that game are encouraged to repeal or otherwise disable the rule “Victory and Ascension” within that game.

Swapping the “if someone decides they’ve won at the Wordpress game, they fight it out with the winner here” for “the Wordpress game is a test”, given that nothing has happened there for a week and it’s likely reached the point where all of its players could be auto-idled and a two-person team propose and enact “I win”.

My (admittedly outsider) understanding the Second Switch is that there’s perhaps one remaining critical issue that needs resolving with Wordpress - how new players are signed up. Once that’s sorted out, we can start moving to the Wordpress site. It doesn’t seem like it makes any sense to talk of a “winner” of the Wordpress dynasty any more.

That our ruleset is still talking of one (and saying that it has “equal standing with this dynasty”) is, I think, why nothing much is happening here either. Why bother taking effort to play and win this dynasty when someone could pull a cheap or bored victory over at the Wordpress dynasty, and muscle in?
