Change the contents of the rule “Synergy” to:
Speed: 5
Effect: The next time the Effects of a Spell are applied to this Wizard during the current Duel, apply the same Effects to the Wizard who cast it.
Synergy now doesn’t need the Misdirection exception (Misdirection is faster) but this speed change makes it outspeed Gust.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

You’re also changing it from randomly selecting a spell to “the next time”, so essentially the first Spell cast at this Wizard by ring position order.
That’s fine with me, as I think we’re trending towards changing all Spells with “random position” to use Ring order instead. It’s just worth calling it out. I think you’ll find even more people in favor of that anyway.
