In rule that is denoted as “Feudal Contract”,
Add a subrule called “Taxation” with the description:
If the day of the week is Saturday on the Blognomic time, the Dark One must reduce each Soul’s Prominence by 10%(rounded down) of each Soul’s respective Prominence. The Dark One may only do this once a day.
You don’t say to only do it once, just that if it’s Saturday then he has to reduce the number. Once he’s reduced it, it’s still Saturday, so he still has to reduce it, and so on until we’re all at zero.
This is also going to cause a problem with the appendix - “For the purpose of all rules, time in BlogNomic is in UTC” and “It can never be 2 different days at the same instant.”
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
