Seems like a good point in the dynasty to take a temperature check, two and a half weeks in. (Dynasties tend to last about a month.)
How are people finding the dynasty so far - what’s working, and what isn’t? Is it about time someone pitched a victory condition?
And why are so many players holding back from proposing? (Only four of the game’s fifteen players have made proposals in the last week.) Are the round-respecting Day Clauses bringing too much complexity into making simple changes? Are we lapsing into unamended boardgame mode? Or something else?
Josh: he/they
Initially I found this imperial quasi-veto to be demoralising to my desire to participate in game design; by the time that wore off a combination of not having a firm grasp on the ruleset and long turns made it hard to get re-motivated.
Saying it out loud, I should probably idle.
