Proposal: That Pesky Dragon

Self-killed -Larrytheturtle

Adminned at 05 Mar 2016 07:25:44 UTC

Create a new rule “Dragon Slayer” with the following text:

An Orc who Killed That Pesky Dragon, may Achieve Victory.

Create a new rule “Action Points” with the following text:

Orcs have a numerical amount of Action Points or AP which is tracked in the GNDT and defaults to 3. As a Daily Communal Action, an Orc may increase each Orcs AP by 1.

I want to get away from daily actions and thought this might work as an alternative? This way you can store actions and you won’t miss opportunities if you aren’t on at the right time of day?

Note: A victory condition wired to an entirely undefined phrase might be a mistake when some players have killed dragons before.

Note: In fairness, that Dragon was the opposite of Pesky, and you slew it, rather than killed it, but the basic point stands.

Yeah. Raichu pointed that out to me. I completely forgot about that dynasty despite having been active in it. Not sure what the best course of action is?

Note: Maybe specify that the kill only counts if it’s during this dynasty? So, “An Orc who Killed That Pesky Dragon during the Second (?) dynasty of Larrytheturtle may achieve victory”

I forgot to put note: on my first comment so it isn’t really needed now. I think that the fact that it was “slew” would make it a different action. If not I’ll just have to re propose.

against “Slay” seems enough of a synonym for “kill”. There have been dragons in other dynasties too.

against I’ll re-propose this with another thing shortly. Need to get this out of the way.
