You told me that the final bowl was ready once you idled PSS.  So why did you wait for Unscammy Final Bowl to pass before doing this if you didn’t want to “do something scammy” to interfere with the results?  Because you did interfere, twice, once when you idled PSS, and once when you waited to pass Unscammy Final Bowl.  How can you claim you did what you did for the sake of neutrality?

Not that I am unhappy with this result.  Cuddlebeam is idle, that’s the best thing that could have happened here.

I think it’s alright. It was basically in the Emperor’s hands whether I won or Sphinx won at that point, and in the end, “winning” is just a line of text on a cool site.

I believe that we’ve all “won” on our own fronts here, so in the end, I think it’s all OK.

@Oracular rufio: Waiting for Unscammy Final Bowl was, I think, ultimately faster. If I did the closing ceremony right away, and then Unscammy Final Bowl gets enacted, then the Merit totals posted in the earlier closing ceremony are invalid, and that means yet another CfJ to sort out.

It doesn’t work like that.  You can only be unidled if you’ve asked in the past four days and you haven’t gone idle in the past four days.  There is no time when that will be true with just that statement.  You’ll have to wait four days and ask again.
