Repeal the rule “Trite”.
In the rule “Scoring”, remove “and the Trite at the time that the post is made” and the bullet point beginning “For each Private Criteria in the response that contains any of the nouns listed in the Trite”.
This rule doesn’t really seem to have taken off.
I liked the Trite, but it’s true that it hasn’t had much use.
in case the Observer would like it to stick around.
I lean towards removing the trite but I don’t think I have been involved for enough time to opine.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

I agree that it hasn’t been used much yet, but it’s on my mind. I do wonder whether the Trite and the Guess mechanic are working the same lane, though.
