I feel like this is a bit unfair to whoever becomes emperor next, having to suddenly design their dynasty around these favors.

Its also unfair to people who don’t realize a new dynasty is about to start, so join the dynasty late.

If I do win the coin flip, I’m certainly willing to explore people gaining favors during my dynasty, but I’d rather not go into the dynasty with people having favors.

Remember that any favours gained in your dynasty can’t be used in that dynasty, as they’ll be unripe.

It’s just priming the pump a bit, feels a bit silly to keep the mechanic around when no-one can use it for another month.

right. but its still quite possible this gets resolved this dynasty. It’ll be around 24 hours until someone can even declare victory in this dynasty, because Lemon usually doesn’t get online until around now, and the escape posts need to be up for at least 24 hours and then she needs to make the Resolution.

I’d be okay with this passing at the start of next dynasty, but would want to make sure it doesn’t pass before then.

Random sprinkling doesn’t seem like a useful road test: it’s always going to be easy to spend a “gain or steal 1 resource” card. The meat of Favours is in how we agree to assign them, which is something we should try to get into next dynasty.
