In “Clues”, replace “If the Chief has not done so in the past 72 hours” with:-
If the Chief has not done so in the past 46 hours
Three days is a long time. (And making it 46 instead of 48 so that the search time doesn’t constantly drift forward.)
It might be better to have a Search happen if no Detectives have moved or gained Traits for 24 hours, really - to avoid race conditions where it’s best to act right before a Search is due, to minimise how much your opponents can react to you.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
