I don’t think it would impact Kevan and Summai anyway, unless there was a CfJ, since Mantle Limitations is on.

It would have an implication about Kevan getting victory share at all when Summai and he have worked together. Keen to ensure that that is excluded.

This is more or less how I’ve played out the current dynasty anyway.

Active players make the best Mentors, as they can explain and advise on the dynastic gameplay. Saying that the Mentor should be expected to stand down on their personal gameplay if asked to is a big deal, particularly mid to late game. I think I’d be reluctant to take on a new student under this wording.

@Kevan You do not have to rope your mentee into your cabal. You can mentor them and play your own separate game. All this clause does is prevent a mentor from using their mentee as a sockpuppet.

If that’s the only intention is it not already covered by “The mentor should not sock-puppet, bully, coerce or otherwise manipulate the mentee into performing any game actions.”?

I am especially concerned that this Proposal does not have the [Appendix] tag applied.

I could have tried to do the scam on my own if I wanted to, so it wouldn’t have any implication on this dynasty either way. If there’s a general reason for why this rule should be implemented, I might change my vote on hearing the said reason.
