Create a new subrule to the rule “Homeward Bound”, called “Non-Tourist Characters”, with the following text:
If The Princess or Wilson ever fulfills the above victory conditions, repeal all dynastic rules and start a new dynasty with no Tour Guide. This dynasty will be called “The Fourth Metadynasty”.
“Hey Wilson, you’re looking quite tanned.”
“You’re talking to a GOD DAMN VOLLEYBALL!”
That should be the *fifth* metadynasty. Even though Rodlen’s metadynasty isn’t labeled as the ‘fourth metadynasty’ in the wiki, it was still a metadynasty.
Though some might consider it to be Rodlen’s Second Dynasty, I suppose; he was a special case, at least for the first half of it.
I struggled with what to call it, Fourth or Fifth, but “Rodlen’s First Metadynasty” was unprecedented so I just went with one. We could always change it later.
By the way, what the hell was that dynasty about?
We split into factions. One group was about Gnomes, one group was about being crazy, and the third group was about writing overly bombastic ordinances. It didn’t quite work out, actually.
I suppose my real question is why it wasn’t “The Second Dynasty of Rodlen”.
Because the rules said it was a metadynasty, but Rodlen kept insisting he had won so we stuck his name on it to get him to stop complaining.
Meh, this rule is so unimaginative that it bores me to death.
Worse, I can’t understand why anybody can like it, seeing how the Princess has a higher chance of winning than anyone else.
Are we really that desperate to quickly get into a meta-dynasty again?
By the way, does Round One count as a metadynasty for dynasty numbering?
Don’t we already have a rule that if the princess would win someone else wins in her place?
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
