Proposal: The Rake

Add a subrule to “The Wheel” called “Plaques”:-

Each Gambler has a number of Plaques, tracked on “The Wheel” wiki page.

If the Points of a single Gambler (known as the High Roller) are greater than the sum of all other Gamblers’ Points, and also greater than the number of Segments on the Wheel, then any Gambler may (as a daily communal action) Sweep the Board by increasing the High Roller’s Plaques by 1, and setting all Gamblers’ Points to zero.

Maybe time to bring back Josh’s meteoric scoring reset, now that the scores are so disparate and it’ll take a lot of time and luck to catch the leader up. But with a reward for the clear winner, rather than rewarding both high and high-negative scores.

Feels like this could lead to some cheap resets, especially with the Highlander proposal and Distractions.

Plaques remain as a scoring mechanism. It just makes my hypothetical score of 96 equal to Jumble’s 39.

You can do weird things with negatives here: what If a buddy is intentionally tanking the total score? That may be interesting behavior though.
