Proposal: The way it was really intended

Times out at 6-2-1. Failed. Oze

Adminned at 25 Dec 2008 09:52:27 UTC

Replace the text “Every rule existing in the Blognomic ruleset is considered implicit in each Faction’s Ruleset, even if not written on it.” in rule 2.2 “Factions” with the text “Every rule in Sections 1 and 3 of the Blognomic ruleset is considered to be in each Faction’s Ruleset.  Every rule in Section 2 of the Blognomic ruleset except rule 2.1 “First Metadynasty of Rodlen” is considered as implicit restrictions for which each Faction must adhere, even if the Ruleset of one or more Factions disagrees.”

against I made this rule, and this is NOT the way I intended it to work.

against thinking on it, this is a bad idea, core rules need to apply accross the board as a uniting feature.

The way it stands now, each faction creates three more factions, creating an infinite loop of factions.

@Yoda: Sure but the core rules of blognomic allow the whole of the population to CfJ and stop such a mess. Even with the fix, you can’t prevent the factions from becoming recursive.

Even with the fix, you can still directly influence each faction from blognomic as a whole through proposals and CfJs.  Honestly, I don’t see what the problem with this is.
