If you haven’t noticed, someone’s been spamming a few pages in the wiki, inserting links. It’s not that big of a deal yet, since spotting and removing them is rediciously easy, but is there a more permanent solution to this? I’m not schooled in the wonderful art of wiki-editing, so I wouldn’t know how this would work.
Just some random pages: the ruleset and a few ‘talk’-pages. The most recent changes to the wiki are tracked, so you can see the changes in the wiki.
I’m banning these users for several decades, and I think their IP addresses as well.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
