Proposal: This dynasty could be ruined by outside interference; let’s prevent that happening in future

To the end of the bulletted list in the Core rule “Fair Play”, add the following bullet point:

  • A Crewmember should not try to gain an advantage via persuading an Idle Crewmember to unidle, or a non-Crewmember to register for the game.

Also means that if Agora ever invades again, it’ll actually be against the rules.

No, it would make it against the rules for BlogNomic players to stop them. An Agoran who had never played BlogNomic could coordinate a group to sign up and force a CfJ through, and the existing BlogNomic players would be unable to ask friends or older players to help out in response (which is exactly what we had to do last time).

And surely Ais523 realises all of this. If Agora want to have a friendly game of Nomic invasion where they define the flag and we try to stop them from capturing it, please just ask us.

I didn’t realise that, and this was not any sort of scam attempt.

(Agora is basically inactive right now, although there’s talk of resurrecting it.)
