Thoughts on the current state of the dynasty?

I’m just kind of interested in feedback since we rarely chat, we’ve got some stuff happening though it’s hard to think of a good win condition. I’m seeing some mana stuff happening, maybe more stress on the magical nature of stuff? What kind of policies do you guys want?

I feel like we’ve got the basic framework in place. I’ve got a win condition I’m writing up, and I think once we get that and the turn structure worked out we’ll be playing a fairly interesting game that won’t see too much in the way of tweaks.

I’m sort of waiting to see what happens when I get to play a bit, as so far I’ve only taken one turn, and actually playing is how I usually get a feel for a game. My head swims a little piecing together how the ruleset is going to change when delays and rewrites trigger, so I haven’t done dynastic proposals.

I’m overall pretty OK with how things are going.

I’m waiting to see how round 4 goes before tinkering with anything else.

Cuddlebeam, you’re aware that it’s your go right? (Brendan as well but it’s not been his go as long)

I might be misreading the game as I’m not entirely keeping up with it, but it seems very lopsided at the moment, with the main game action being a slow and simple “choose two dice each week and try to solitaire-optimise a couple of numbers, good luck”, and a teetering network of complex extra mechanics that may never actually come into play.

And yes, proposals are also slowing down from me at the moment because the ruleset is a moving target.
