If the proposal “Set Sail for Adventure!” failed, this proposal does nothing.

Apply the following changes to the rule “Ships”:
Change “Speed: 1” in the subrule “Sloop” to “Speed: 2”
Change “Speed: 2” in the subrule “Brigantine” to “Speed: 3”
Change “Speed: 3” in the subrule “Barque” to “Speed: 4”
Change “Speed: 5” in the subrule “Galleon” to “Speed: 3”

Let’s make movement a little more interesting.

for This does make it slightly more interesting. I would like to see an element of randomness added in, maybe not with speed but some other ship attribute.

might want to adjust the costs a bit. Currently they are all very much costed to be tier 1, tier 2, tier 3 and tier 4. Now there might be a reason to have the Barque over the Galleon, so having the Galleon cost way more doesn’t make as much sense.

That being said, I like not having ships be clear upgrades over eachother.

I think Barque and Galleon should be the same ‘tier’, with Barque being the fastest ship and Galleon being the largest.
