Proposal: Threw in, thrown out

Amend rule 2.15, The Throw-in, to read:

If the Player who has the Ball has had it for the entirety of the previous 72 hours, any other Player may transfer the Ball to their own possession, optionally also giving the Player who had the Ball a zero Shirt.

against What does this even mean? That a person can hold the ball for 72 hours, which will give another player the option to not let him change his shirt?

I’m guessing you mean “the option to let him change his shirt”? Intentional throw-ins are indeed a flaw.

The point is that a player who throws-in by being effectively (if not officially) idle, can be effectively taken out of the Ball game (until they come back).

Okay, I see your point now. However, the flaw still exists as you said - intentional throw-in tricksies.
