Proposal: Time for some nomic zaniness

1-7 - Cannot be enacted without CoV—Chronos

Adminned at 12 Aug 2005 13:45:11 UTC

Name square number 14 “Chalkboard”.  Create a “Chalkboard” category, which Prepends the word ‘chalkboard’ to the post, and has a black square with a white border as its icon. Testing out our capacity for new things

Add the following text to the rule “World”, typeset with a grey background.

A player who is located at the Chalkboard may, provided e has not done so since e most recently moved onto the Chalkboard, may add one word to the ruleset at anywhere that is not typeset with a grey background—notably, the Core Ruleset, the Glossary, and this rule.  E may do so by posting to the frontpage with a post in the “Chalkboard” category, with the rule name that E wishes to change in the title, and the change e wishes to be made detailed in the body of the post, and the alteration comes into effect immediately.  Anyone with access to the ruleset may then update the ruleset to reflect the change.

i love this kind of thing, but this isn’t one with enough of a check on it…  maybe if a person has ot gget people to agree to it

against would requiring a second be enough?

Maybe, say… a third of a quorum has to second it then it takes effect? Still a minority conspiracy, but at least a wider one. :D

against reason one:  all of the above

against reason two:  At the moment, I’m the only one who can add categories.  We do NOT need to get in the habit of writing rules for things that only I can do.

When I can give BlogNomic Administrators access to do this, go right ahead.  But for now, nah.
