The timestamps of email messages being sent by “Zahndwolf” seem to correspond to the times that aaronwinborn is actively on-line (based on the time-stamps of his votes and admin actions on Blognomic).

I’m not suggesting lynching him yet, just imprisoning him.  Let the gaolers and night watchman keep an eye on him for a few days.

You do remember that Aaron tried to use activity times against Bucky, right?  And that we lynched Bucky?  And that (if we can believe Chivalrybean) he was innocent all along?

shoot, i’ll go to prison willingly if that’ll make you feel better. it’s safer in there anyway. and it’s not like being the tinsmith is profitable these days, what with everyone spending their money on silver bullets and haircuts.

i only got two emails from zahndwolf anyway, from about 10 days ago or so. i think e gave up on me.

is there some reason you (presumably two) have been communicating with each other that you’d like to share with the rest of us?

Of course there’s a reason.  To try to smoke out zahndwolf’s identity.

I’ve not seen any good evidence, but it’s better than an all out lynching.

Note that voting deferential in a Town Meeting is effectively abstaining, because your Mayor is dead.

“Kind of garbled?”  It’s mostly illegible, and all spectacularly easy to fake.

Even if the email times do match, I doubt that every single person in the nomic lives in a different time zone.  If there were some benfit to imprisoning people (like finding out if they’re a werewolf) I might be in favor, but otherwise I see no reason to be.

Um, Rule 2.3.2 (Werewolf Prisoners). There’s a 50% chance that someone will notice him change each night, if he’s a werewolf.

The town meeting is still legal, but he can reveal no further information in his discussion of it.

Okay, CoV on general principle:  people killed by the werewolves must be doing something right.  Besides, Aaron doesn’t seem to mind.

But the email / activity time evidence is still bogus.

But, if Aaron is not a werewolf, we are simply wasting out time by doing this.
