Add the following to the list of instiutions:
The Black Market: When a player Influences the Black Market, until the next cycle begins they spend 5 + N Credits, where N is the number of times they have performed this action during the current cycle, and increase their Marines by 1.
Add a credit->marines option.
“until the next cycle begins they spend 5 + N Credits” - I think there’s an operator missing here, which can possibly be assumed to be “may” and excused as a typo?
eh, while its clearly a typo it still makes sense with the implied meaning being “must”. “may” was certainly the intention. Probably should fix before this one gets activated =P
Pretty sure the wording is wrong.
Institutions are Resolved at the end of each cycle, then the next cycle begins, wich means the period of time “until the next cycle” is practically non-existent.
Anyway, “until X they perform the action Y” is very unclear. Does it mean the action Y is so long to be performed that it lasts until X?
I’m guessing you meant something like
“A Player who Influenced the Black Market during the previous Cycle may, at any time, spend 5 + N Credits to increase their Marines by 1, where N is the number of times they have performed this action during the current Cycle.”
as it means they are continually spending all their credits to get marines.

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
