Proposal: Unstable matter

Reached quorum 5 votes to 2. Enacted by Kevan.

Adminned at 29 Jan 2020 11:12:01 UTC

Rename the rule The Warp to Fetal Artefacts. Add the following to the end of that rule:

As a daily communal action, any Individual may add 1 Spatial damage to all Fetal Artefacts.

Farming the Warp is an inglorious path to victory.

(But that aside, this is a very dumb and non-gameplay proposal)

Out of context, I’d have said that making Warp Artefacts unstable in this way was a neat mechanic.

Yeah, it honestly seemed reasonable to me.

I don’t buy the aesthetic justification when there is a more obvious motive for it.

Sure, any vote should be on the gameplay impact of it right here and now, and whether people think these Artefacts should all remain permanent. But outside of that context, in terms of its gameplay and flavour, having Warp Artefacts dissolve gradually is a neat enough idea.

If it was proposed ages ago, yeah. But not now, given the obvious bampam. It’s not really “game design” at this point.
