If the proposal “My Room My Rules” failed, this proposal has no further effect.

For each AI, add a number of Files equal to their Influence to their Server Room (skipping those AIs for which it is not possible to do so).

In “Nosy Researchers”, replace “For each Conspicuous action in the Behavior Log whose Location is an AI’s server room and was not performed by that AI, increase that AI’s influence by 1” with:-

For each Conspicuous action in the Behavior Log whose Location is an AI’s server room and was not performed by that AI, add a File to that Location (if it is possible to do so)

Remove “Every AI has a publicly tracked value called Influence, which defaults to 0.” from the ruleset.

Replace “As a Conspicuous Action named Updating, an AI may spend 2 Influence to” with “As a Conspicuous Action named Updating, an AI may remove 2 Files from their Server Room to”.

Folding Influence into Files: if another AI is snooping around your Server Room, this generates usable data.

Moving influence to be tracked in a server room means that it won’t get reset if a user is. Feel like there is probably room for abuse to work with a friend to get your server room decked out and then sure you get reset but now you have a leg up on the competition.

Decking out your Server Room with tags that don’t get reset is already abusable under the Influence version of this, isn’t it? Resetting the Data Store might be a good idea regardless, but isn’t going to catch anyone out here when they just have to spend it before midnight.

you need to be able to get a lot of influence to do it, and you can only add/remove one tag per day so its a bit of a slow process. whereas here, you could fill your server room up with files by having your friends perform various actions in your room, and then spend those files freely in the days after you get reset

i definitely feel like server rooms should be reset along with their AIs, but like clucky said that can be fixed!! for
