Proposal: Victory by Saintliness

Failed 1-5 by Bucky.  Timed out.

Add a new rule, “Victory Conditions”

All victory conditions shall be listed in this rule.

*If at any time there exist n Monks, and n-1 Suspicious Monks, then any Monk that isn’t suspicious may declare Victory. This DoV is not able to pass unless the Abbot votes FOR it.

against , against and against !  An encrypted rule makes this victory condition trivial.

Drafting error.  The ruleset already permits monks to declare victory.  What we really need is rules that allow monks to achieve victory.  So something like…

If at any time there exist n Monks, and n-1 Suspicious Monks, then any Monk that isn’t suspicious has achieved Victory provided that the Abbot votes for eir DoV.

I would vote FOR a re-drafted version of this proposal.

against What, exactly, is meant by the use of “n” here?  Is “n” defined to be the number of Monks?  Will “n” be set by some future rule or proposal?  There currently exist 2 Monks and 1 Suspicious Monk, so would I be able to win because the statement is true for n=2?

How do you know if you are suspicious or not? ;)
