Add a new rule called “Groundhog Victory”:
If any Bill Murray has accomplished 999,999,999,999,999 Good Deeds, they have achieved victory.
The high number is to prevent premature victories.
Gah, what’s the point of doing this rule if it’s so ridiculously high.
But I will propose to change the number to 1 or 2 at a later point.
I think three would be a good number. However, I think we should also limit the maximum number of steps that a good deed may have.
There was supposed to be a 20 Step limit, but I forgot to put that in.
I don’t really see the difference between making a proposal to change the number, compared to repeating the proposal but having a different number at a later point in time. This way just allows scams a bit easier.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
