Volunteers?

How should we decide who gets what stations?  Should the Abbot pick anyone regardless of who wants to do it?  Should we decide randomly?  Should we ask for volunteers?  Should we combine two of the above methods?

Unless there is a motion (or preferably a consensus) to assign the Stations in a couple of days, I will divy them in some inscrutable way.

So the Librarian could effectively be a non-player that I control (unless Matteo unfortunately meets his demise, like his predecessor), or we could have one of the Monks be Matteo of Florence. I see no trouble with either—I don’t need to be Abbot Angry Grasshopper, after all. Perhaps a proposal might be useful, here.
