Archivist is a Role. As a Heist Action, an Archivist can reset the text of a sentence in the ruleset to have the text it had immediately after the enactment of the last proposal that altered that sentence.
Adding some counter play, so you can snipe changes in progress. I considered making it a regular participant heist action, or giving the archivist the ability to reset whole rules, but those felt a little powerful.
This would be a mentally taxing action for me.

You might want a capital A on the second copy of “Archivist”. Otherwise, this looks great and I’m planning to vote for it.
One concern I have is that it might encourage players to try to stay constantly online so that they can snipe a combo of changes in progress, but in practice that’s not going to be at all possible as a) the changes can happen at any time of day (there are no timing breakpoints) and b) Heist Actions are defined so that you can just throw them all into the Dice Roller one after another, leaving only a tiny window for fitting in changes in between. So “sniping an actively performed action” is likely to be almost completely impossible and thus it’s unlikely to inspire players to try it. Sniping an action performed over the course of a day or two is more valuable, though, and this makes it reasonable for two players to do that (one to set the Archivist role, one to use it) rather than needing to coordinate a whole team.
