Proposal: Why should Quazie have to write proposals?

5-6. Timed out. Failed by Elias IX.

Adminned at 21 Mar 2006 14:01:34 UTC

Add a new rule titled “I don’t like the proposal system”:

Quazie may change the text of any rule in Section Two, Rules, except for this one, but may not declare victory because of any changes that e has made.

What did.. you put in my coffee?!

against Proposal system is as much to stop careless oversights as malicious abuse.

against I would vote for this except for the obvious loophole - there are a number of ways it could work, but just for example, he could add a rule that says ‘Quazie may change any rule in the ruleset, and declare victory as often as e pleases. This rule supersedes all other rules.’

Quazie:

I dont want to win, you prolly doubt that, but i dont have time to be the grand pubah or whatever right now, i want the core ruleset fixed, and someone to win on their own, don;t belive me because i know you wont, but thats that

The way I read it, “may not declare victory because of any changes that e has made.” includes such indirect changes as Personman suggested.
