Lithophagist has requested a wiki account via pm. Could one of the wiki admins sort that out?

On a completely unrelated note, looking at the blog’s member list, dozens of what appear to be spam accounts have been created over the past few months. They haven’t made posts or comments yet, though. Should we be worried?

Good catch on the unwanted history. Did it used to link somewhere else, though? I’m sure we’d had two “history of” links for a while, but the revision history doesn’t go back that far. We may as well lose the explicitly outdated link to the history on the old wiki, as well; I’ve taken it out.

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

On an even more unrelated note, I’ve removed the “History of Blognomic” wiki page from the front page of the blog. There was a consensus earlier that it should be removed from the front page of the wiki, so I don’t expect this action to be very controversial.
