Add to rule 1.4 the following:
Artists may not submit proposals that would change the core rules if they have either;
1. Been idle within the last 168 hours
2. Became registered Artists within the last 168 hours
I might vote in favor of just the second condition, but I’d need to think about it.
This is inconvenient and also useless in practice (it does not stop voting on proposals, nor submitting CfJs)
Good idea, but it doesn’t work. (Note that coppro is an admin, and that a dynastic rule can provide new methods with which to change the core rules.)
Toothless. Propose a dynastic rule which overrules the core, or modifies it after enactment.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
