In Rule 2.9, replace “Every Agent with a Codename has a Specialty, which is tracked in the GNDT. When an Agent is assigned a Codename, that Agent’s Specialty is set to Generalist.” with:-
Every Agent has a Specialty and a Clue, which are tracked in the GNDT. An Agent’s Specialty starts as Generalist, and their Clue starts as blank.
Replace “A Generalist may change Specialties at any time, without making a Story Post.” with:-
A Generalist who has a Codename may change their Specialty at any time, without updating their Clue.
Replace the final paragraph with:-
As a daily action, any Agent who has a Codename may change their Specialty by updating their Specialty in the GNDT and adding one letter of their Codename to their Clue. An Agent may add the same letter to their Clue multiple times, but only as many times as that letter actually appears in their Codename. If an Agent has already revealed all the letters of their Codename in this way, they may continue to change Specialties as a daily action without updating their Clue.
Putting the Codename clues into the GNDT, so that we have a clear public record, and to avoid getting spammed when things get busy. Also bumping around the Codename requirement - the current “Agents with no Codenames have no Speciality” hasn’t been applied correctly, and seems unnecessary.
