Declaration of Victory: You all (or at least half) belong to me!

Reached quorum with the Government’s vote. Josh

Based on the feedback I got here: http://blognomic.com/archive/what_do_you_think/

I restored my two factories, thus lowering my credit limit to -$426M and allowing me to buy out Zephyr for my seventh corporation. According to the rules, I have achieved victory.

If you feel that I shouldn’t have gotten those two factories, feel free to create a CfJ in an attempt to reverse the action. I can understand the argument either way. =)

for .

It was legal even if you did not have the two factories.  If you read the appropriate rule, you’ll find that you can buy someone out even if it means you go bankrupt in the process.

Where in the rules did it say that. The rules say

‘No Corporation may take any action that directly and immediately causes their Cash to become lower than their Credit Limit.’

and I cannot find any reference within the buyout rule that reverse this statement.

Better than my attempt… I’d give you the two factories if you needed them.

Out of curiosity, if lars rejoining had raised quorum - or if someone else were to join now, which they are permitted to do during hiatus - would that have invalidated the victory?
