It’s not a bad idea, but if the top entry in the Destination list is not adjacent to the Surroundings, then what? The list will never move forward, and there’s not a mechanism for removing Destinations, so the Surroundings are permanently stuck wherever they are.

I’m not sure if this is a sneaky attempt to prevent the Surrounding or Destination list from changing in order to fulfill an Agenda, or if it’s just an accidental oversight, but I don’t like it either way.

The next clause in the existig rule is “and then remove the top entry from the list”, the entry will be removed whether or not it’s adjacent.

CoV   because I know that lemon had some ideas about certain areas being harmful, and I don’t know if this adjacency will fit with her plans, but if it does, I’m fine with it.

i find this to be charming and fun! i do think it would be better though if, for non-adjacent terrains, the Great Machine walked toward them (passing through the closest terrain on the way there). that would require there to be no blank gaps in the terrain types, though. hmmmm
