Replace the following words throughout the ruleset:
- Tavern becomes Dive Bar
- Blacksmith becomes Arms Dealer
- Church becomes NeoCorp
- Throwing Knife becomes Pistol
- Cloak becomes Holosuit
- Knife becomes Blade
- Tolling of the Bell becomes Uplink
- Toll the Bell becomes trigger Uplink
- the Bell has Tolled becomes Uplink has occurred
A straight vote on Skju’s suggestion of adopting a cyberpunk theme.
on my own proposal, tending towards AGAINST. We can have a full-on cyberpunk/replicant dynasty another day - there’s plenty of mileage in mediaeval ninja assassins, and we can do all the tracking-and-scanning stuff with urchins and carrier pigeons.
(Note that this won’t become a self-kill if the Referee votes against, because a self-kill only happens when the proposer “casts an explicit vote AGAINST”.)
I have a slight preference towards the existing theme, but am willing to be overruled by a quorum of Assassins.

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
