Reword the rule Goals to:
The bullet points below in this rule are Victory Conditions. The first Villager to meet all the requirements for one of these victory conditions has achieved victory. Some of these victory conditions have a Victory Cost - paying the Victory Cost when it is legal to do so is a dynastic action with no effects other than those specified in the applicable Victory Condition. (In the case of multiple villagers meeting all of the requirements for a victory condition simultaneously, the first of those villagers to declare victory is the one that is considered to be the one that met the requirements first.)
*Called help: The villager must have constructed a Radio Tower.
*Warmed the settlement: The villager must have constructed a Bonfire.
*Escaped: The villager must be at the Road, and must pay a Victory Cost of 60 time while at the Road at least twice without going unconscious as a direct result of the payments.
*Last person standing: The villager must be the only villager to be conscious. Alternatively, they may be the only conscious villager with a cudgel.
*Boarded themselves in: The villager must be the only one villager who is in an indoors location, and must pay a Victory Cost of 1 Branches.
Create a rule called Constructions with the following text:
There exists a number of entities called Constructions, which each have a location which must be outdoors. Up to one of each type of Construction can exist.
Constructions can be built by villager by spending the Construction Cost from that villager’s Inventory.
Create a table in Constructions with the following header and rows.
Constructions | Cost
Bonfire | Six Items which have the Fabric and/or Organic adjectives. (Branches count as two items for this purpose.)
Radio Tower | A battery with at least 10 charge, and four Items which have the Metal and/or Electric adjectives.
These should hopefully be somewhat neutral rather than favouring any particular player.
Josh: he/they
Good stuff.
The gut check concern I have is that I don’t know what Brendan and lendun have in their stashes, but they’re both electronic which gives them a leg up on the radio. But then, the cudgel-wielders have a Last Person Standing bonus… Hmm.
