Activity during the Olympic Games

I am wondering why any time I try to make something reward people who come at least once a day, people don’t like it. It seems to me that if someone comes on once day, e should receive some benefit . Instead, there are all these safeguards to prevent people from progressing faster by logging on more often.

I would like to get to know the spirit of the game more, so I have a better chance of passing a proposal that works. So far, I have failed to pass a proposal that left too much open, failed to pass one that was too complicated, failed to become an admin, and failed to pass a simple change in the rules that would allow each Olympian to change eir own TP instead of having to go through the list and giving everyone a point, even people who are inactive.

Does anyone have any advice towards producing a working proposal, or any explanation why activity shouldn’t be rewarded?

Because, like I have said every time, Blognomic isn’t something you need to get on every day.

Yeah, your proposal was a pretty explicit “Do this every day!  There’s absolutely no reason not to!”
ew.

Really, it was more of a “If you get on for 30 seconds, you will have a chance at improving yourself in the game, rather than watching an ad on TV and having someone else do it for you. At least that was my interpretation.

Outside circumstances, and not the player’s wanting to be active, often dictate a player’s activity.

Students, espeicially during finals, undergo periods of time when they basically can’t sign into Blognomic more than once a week.

Oh, and working proposals? If you look through the full Blognomic history, maybe you can get some ideas.
