In the “Approaching Beasts” rule, change
If the total exceeds the Beast’s Fortitude, the Beast’s rule is repealed and each Attacking Knight and each Scouting Knight gains Gold equal to the Beast’s Fortitude; otherwise a randomly-selected Attacking Knight loses a random Weapon that they are Wielding (if they are Wielding any).

If the total exceeds the Beast’s Fortitude, the Beast is Slain. If this happens, “Slain by” is added to the Beast’s Rule, followed by a list of the names of the approaching Knights and their corresponding tactics. Otherwise, a randomly-selected Attacking Knight loses a random Weapon that they are Wielding (if they are Wielding any).
In the same rule, change:
If there is no active Approach post for a particular Beast
to
If there is no active Approach post for a particular Beast, and that Beast has already been not Slain
In the “Beasts” rule, change:
As a daily action, the Baron may select a Beast at random: if its Motive is not currently met, the Baron must apply the effects of its Behaviour, once.
to
As a daily action, the Baron may select a non-Slain Beast at random: if its Motive is not currently met, the Baron must apply the effects of its Behaviour, once.
I think we should save the Beasts’ rules for posterity, or at least so we can have beast zombies or something. Also, the glory (or inglory) of everyone involved is remembered in the slain beast’s rule, including those who hid!

@Purplebeard: Whoops! Didn’t mean to do that. It’s not as if we’re about to slay anything, though.
