I just got an email from someone here (I haven’t looked at the database to see who it is yet) requesting the admin password. Have we made a new admin? If this problem is not solved, reply here and I’ll set you up with whatever you need.
I sent out an E-mail to the Admin list, not realizing it would include idle admins and people who had once been admins. If that’s the E-mail you got, sorry for the inconvenience.
Alethiophile, welcome aboard! Always good to have lots of admin staff around here. It seems like you’ve got all of your privileges set up correctly.
Looks like this last game has been interesting. I may de-lurk myself and start causing trouble when this game ends. ;)
How do we have “unregistered idle olympians”? What does that mean? We could list everyone in the world, and call them “unregistered”.
I think those are people who played over at blognomic.blogspot.com before the switch to blognomic.com, but have never created accounts here.
Indeed. Or at least never told us that they have. There was talk about deleting the list last year sometime but i was shouted down.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

I also got such an email, but I thought it was suspicious. As far as I know, the only new admin already knows the passwords. The troll from your last Dynasty reappeared last week, so I assumed it was probably em.
