How should I communicate with JonathanDark, given the rule against Private Communication?

In the meantime, I will ask my questions here:
* The proposal “Praxis Makes Perfect” states “Add 1 Praxis to the Warehouse of each City. Add the following Tenet to the Culture of the Capital: ‘As a timed action, every two days, add one instance of Praxis to your Warehouse’.”. Should I have started with 1 Praxis in my Warehouse?

* Under “The Cities and the Sea”, it states that Fields “hold up to five Resources and default to empty.”. However under Resources, the rule for resource generation states “If a City has fewer than ten Resources in its Fields, it may [...]”. I assume that this mismatch is a leftover from an earlier proposal. I considered Proposing a fix for this, but I was unsure whether a Call for Judgement would be more appropriate.

You can communicate with me here, or in the latest Discussion Thread at the top of the blog in yellow. It’s titled “Telegram Office”.

* When a Proposal is enacted, it’s executed as a set of instructions, once. In “Praxis Makes Perfect”, the first instruction was “Add 1 Praxis to the Warehouse of each City”. That was executed and done with. Any player that joined after that Proposal was enacted does not reap that benefit.

* You’re absolutely right about the Fields issue. A Call for Judgement definitely seems appropriate, especially since players like me have been adding more than 5 Resources to our Fields. It will be a good exercise for you to write up your first Official Post, and it’s up to you to decide how you want to address the issue. I recommend looking at past Call for Judgement posts to get a feel for how they tend to be worded.

From “No Private Communications”: “A mentor and mentee may still privately converse with each other, but should keep their conversations away from discussing specific gameplay strategy.” So there’s a special case allowing the mentorships to work despite the building block.

Also, with respect to the Fields issue, the relevant Appendix rule is this one, from “Numbers and Variables”: “A City who has a choice in whether to take an action defined by a dynastic rule may not take that action if both of the following conditions are true: a) the action’s effects are limited to changing values tracked in gamestate-tracking entities (such as a wiki page), and b) the action would change one or more of those values to an illegal value.”

One thing to bear in mind when writing the CFJ is that that rule will have prevented any of the actions in question succeeding, meaning that the current state of the sidebar is wrong. So the CFJ should be worded to work regardless of the actual resources in the fields (e.g. by setting the resources in the fields to a known value) – a CFJ worded along the lines of “remove resources” wouldn’t work properly because the resources you would be trying to remove might not actually be there.
