Rolling back “all gamestate” and then applying it to an action that happened yesterday will also roll back this CfJ. I’m not sure we want to be rolling dead-end Atomics back - as well as trampling over other gameplay, it also doesn’t safely address the problem (mentioned in the previous Crate) of Atomic steps which have a chance of failure. If a coin flip means that the Atomic becomes a dead end, the action taker just rolls it back and flips the coin again, repeating until the action gets through.

(Unrelatedly, I’m not sure “unable to continue the Atomic Action” really flies in a Nomic where rules can be changed. Cuddlebeam will still be “able” to continue the current one, once the correct CfJ or proposal has been made.)

Changing “any other action defined in the Ruleset” to “any dynastic action” might be a better way to go here. We should consider it for safety alone (if we’ve all taken a common Atomic and then realise it was actually unfinishable, the Nomic freezes), and it would let a player dig themselves out by proposal if they dived into a dead-end Atomic for whatever reason.

While you were posting I removed the retroactive application of the rule to Cuddlebeam since we’ve started a new crate now.
But yeah, you’re right this is again a bad proposal.
