Replace “If a Monster stopped Recovering no fewer than 48 hours ago ” with
If a Monster stopped Recovering during the current battle no fewer than 48 hours ago
Replace “The Monster has been Recovering continuously for the past 36 hours; ” with
The Monster has been Recovering during the current battle continuously for the past 36 hours;
Second one is to cover bases
The “current Battle” and “continuously” in the second clause are mutually redundant, because an Adventurer cannot be Recovering unless a Battle is occurring… My undoing was that the situation addressed by the first clause above was the reverse: an interruption, which coincided with the natural interruption between Battles.
Ah well. It’s a patch, I suppose.
