Proposal: Can Our Missions Actually Do Something?

In the rule “Missions”, change the text:

If the Mission is Attended and the previous condition was not met, then the Mission succeeds, and nothing happens

to:

If the Mission is Attended and the previous condition was not met, then the Mission succeeds, and the Severity of its System is decremented once.

and add:

When a System’s Severity is decremented, the Severity changes to the previous one on this list, if it exists.

after:

When a System’s Severity is incremented, the Severity changes to the next one down on this list, if it exists.

I think with having 3 options: increment once, increment twice, and decrement once, we will still be moving plenty quickly towards crisis. Especially since we are only two spots away from propulsion being at critical…  for
